Bonn
Bonn is a city in Germany in the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It was the capital of West Germany or Federal Republic of Germany (RFA) until 1990 and seat of government until 1999. It has a population of 309,869 (2013) and is the 19th largest city in Germany. It is the hometown of composer Ludwig van Beethoven.
Since the communal reform of 1969, the city is divided into four districts: Bonn, Beuel, Hardtberg and Bad Godesberg. On its southern border it borders the federated state of Rhineland-Palatinate.

The institute, emerged from the collective research center called "Theoretische Mathematik", was founded by Friedrich Hirzebruch in 1980, who served as director until his retirement in 1995. It is currently managed by a board of four directors that includes Werner Ballmann (administrative director, who succeeded Günter Harder), Gerd Faltings, Peter Teichner and Don Zagier. Friedrich Hirzebruch was a member emeritus until his death, an appointment that also fell to Yuri Manin.

Erzbischöfliche Liebfrauenschule Bonn often known as the Liebfrauenschule Bonn, is a Catholic school for girls in the Südstadt district of the city of Bonn, in the European country of Germany. In 1876, a private Catholic school for girls was founded by Bernardo Fröhlich and since 1900 it was directed by Emilie Heyermann. He was on Clemensstraße and had c. 250 students In 1917, the Educating Sisters of Notre Dame took over, and in 1919 he moved to KÖNIGSTRASSE 17-19. From 1938 to 1944, the center was closed and replaced by a städtische Oberschule II für Mädchen. In 1945, the Sisters took control of the school again and turned it into a gym for modern languages and, until 1975, for women's secondary education. In 1975, the Archdiocese of Cologne assumed responsibility for the school. In 1985, its buildings were renovated and expanded.
