Dortmund ([ˈdɔɐ̯tmʊnt]; in Low German: Düörpm; in Latin: Tremonia, traditional Hispanic name) is a city in Germany located in the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia, is located in the Ruhr Region and is the eighth most Germany, with a population of 601,402 inhabitants (2018).
