Heiligendamm is a district of the city of Bad Doberan in Mecklenburg, Germany. It is notable as the first seaside resort in continental Europe and the Baltic Sea, founded in 1793. It was the place where the G8 international summit was held in 2007. The spa area has about 300 inhabitants.
