Nuremberg (in German: Nürnberg; pronunciation: [ˈnʏʁnbɛʁkʰ]) is a city in the Franconia region, in the state of Bavaria, Germany, on the banks of the Pegnitz River in Central Franconia with 535 890 inhabitants in the year 2019 .

German National Museum
