Quedlinburg
Quedlinburg ([ˈkveːdlɪnbʊrk]) is a city in Germany, on the banks of the River Bode, in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt.
The city has a unique set of one thousand two hundred half-timbered houses built over six centuries, the market square, with its Baroque Town Hall, the castle and the diocesan church with the cathedral treasury.
Quedlinburg is the main set of half-timbered houses in Germany, so the whole of Collegiate, castle and old city of Quedlinburg has been declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1994.
