Benetúser (officially and in Valencian, Benetússer) is a municipality of the Valencian Community, Spain, belonging to the province of Valencia, in the region of the South Huerta.
Benetúser only borders two municipalities: Alfafar, in the north, in the south and in the east; and Paiporta, in the west, although it also has special links with other municipalities such as Masanasa, Sedaví and the Valencian district of La Torre, whose urban centers are closer than Paiporta.
In the municipal elections held on May 24, 2015 in Benetúser, the PPCV obtained 5 councilors; the PSPV-PSOE 5; EUPV 2; Commitment 2; Guanyem Benetússer 2; and C's, 1. Thus, the PSPV-PSOE led by Eva Sanz obtained the government, although thanks to the investiture support and the entry into the local government of EUPV and Compromís.
On the economic level, throughout the 20th century, it has had a marked industrial character, predominantly the furniture and distillery industry, although since the last decades of the last century it has undergone a change, going from being a fundamentally industrial municipality to being a municipality with a predominance of the services sector.

By 1928, the Agricultural Center of Alfafar, which occupied a building owned by one of its partners, acquired a central solar building on the Plaza del Horno and built a new building encompassed and somewhat ostentatious in the simple local environment, then with abundant examples of popular architecture
Church of Our Lady of Don (Alfafar)
The Church of Our Lady of Don (in Valencian Església de Nostra Senyora del Do) is a Catholic temple located in the Plaza Mayor de Alfafar (Valencia, Spain). It dates from the 18th century and is a representative building of the popular baroque Valencian. It houses the image of the Virgin of the Don that, according to legend, was found in the thirteenth century, during the conquest.
