Arona is a municipality belonging to the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, on the island of Tenerife - Canary Islands, Spain.
The administrative capital is located in the town of Arona, located at 630 meters above sea level.
Although the municipal capital is in the middle, major economic and population importance have Valle de San Lorenzo, with an agricultural export activity, and especially the coastal sector.
