Benimámet (in Valencian and officially Benimàmet) is a district of Valencia, located in the northwest of its municipal district, in the district of Poblados del Oeste bordering the towns of Burjasot and Paterna. Its population registered in 2012 was 14,174 inhabitants (INE). It was an independent municipality until 1882, year in which it became a district of Valencia. It conforms, together with Beniferri, the district of Poblados del Oeste (in Valencian Poblats de l'Oest). The Valencia International Exhibition Fair and the Lluís Puig Municipal Velodrome are located in its surroundings.

Poblados del Oeste (in Valencian and officially Pobles de l'Oest or Poblats de l'Oest) is the name of the 18th district of the city of Valencia (Spain). It limits to the north with the municipalities of Burjasot and Paterna, to the east with Benicalap, to the south with Campanar (district) and to the west with the municipality of Paterna. It consists of two neighborhoods: Benimámet and Beniferri. Its population registered in 2009 was 14,307 inhabitants according to the Valencia City Council.

La Granja station is a station on line 4 of Metrovalencia. It was inaugurated on March 3, 1999. It is located in the neighborhood of La Granja de Burjassot, on the street of the Virgen de la Cabeza, at kilometer 3 of the urban highway CV-35.

Cantereria station is a station on line 2 of Metrovalencia. It is located between the Benimàmet and Empalme stations, in the area near Feria Valencia and the Palacio de Congresos.
On July 30, 2008, two years after the 2006 subway accident, a convoy derailed near the station at a speed of 20 km / h, fortunately without personal injury.

The Technical Superior School of Engineering abbreviated ETSE-UV (by its name in Valencian Escola Tècnica Superior d'Enginyeria) is a teaching center of the University of Valencia that teaches different technical studies. This infrastructure is located in the term of Burjassot (Valencia) and was founded in 2003. Formerly the technical studies were distributed among different faculties of the University of Valencia. Since 2003 the studies are regrouped and begin to be taught in the ETSE-UV.

The Mossén Povo farmhouse is located in the orchard of Beniferri, in the district of Poblados del Oeste, in the city of Valencia. It is a construction dating back to medieval times, which has undergone modifications throughout history, among which the one that took place from the end of the 18th century to the beginning of the 20th century stands out, to provide shelter for the large amount of labor which was required for farms. It is currently listed as Ethnological Space of Local Interest.
