The Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation is a private cultural entity dedicated to the promotion of the artistic, cultural and intellectual work of the painter Salvador Dalí.
It was created on December 23, 1983 in the Castle of Púbol by express will of Salvador Dalí and Doménech. From the beginning, Salvador Dalí presided and directed directly. The Empordà Museum is an institution aimed at research, conservation and dissemination of local and regional cultural heritage, with an extensive program of exhibitions and activities.
