Casa de los Balcones or Casa Fonseca is a house of La Orotava, on the island of Tenerife in the Spanish archipelago of the Canary Islands, characterized by its balconies and interior carved wooden patio. It was built in 1632 (and culminated in 1675).

Hijuela del Botánico, also known as "La Hijuela", is a landscaped public space with an area of 3390 square meters located at the back of the Hon. Town Hall of the Villa de La Orotava.

The cemetery of the Villa de La Orotava, Tenerife Island (Canary Islands, Spain) was born as a result of the need to find space to bury the many deceased caused by the natural increase of the population as there is no place in the Villa's churches . The cemetery, which is still in use and therefore expanding with new niches, preserves the family pantheons of the most notable villeros, such as the Marquis of the Quinta Roja or the Monteverde family, among others. It is noteworthy the central chapel that preserves the door of the sanctuary of the Monastery of the Claras of San José that has nothing to do, as was believed until recently, with that of the Jesuit College. This cover has recently suffered a fire that although it has not destroyed it has left traces. This central chapel was also designed by Maestro Estévez and is made with stonework from the country.

The Lercaro House, in the municipality of La Orotava, Tenerife Island (Canary Islands, Spain), also known as Casa de Ponte-Fonte or Casa de Ponte-Grimaldi, as we attribute its name, to the first owner of the house, Jerónimo Ponte-Fonte y Pagés, and to the mayorazgo and the enlightened family branch that led to his marriage to Catalina Grimaldi Rizo de Lugo, is located at number 7 of Colegio Street.

The European University of the Canary Islands (UEC) is the first private higher education institution of the Canary Islands (Spain). It began its activity in October 2012, having its headquarters in the municipality of La Orotava (Tenerife). The university is integrated into the Laureate International Universities network.
