The judicial party of Laredo is one of eight in which the autonomous community of Cantabria is divided, created in 1988 by Law 38/1988, of December 28, on Demarcation and Judicial Plant, as number two , both of the seven in which Cantabria was initially divided, and later with the creation of the eighth judicial party.
