Not to be confused with the MetroValencia Faitanar Station, in the term of Cuart de Poblet.Faitanar is a district of the city of Valencia belonging to the district of the Poblados del Sur. It had 411 inhabitants registered in 2009 according to the municipality of Valencia. It is located south of the new Turia riverbed, and borders the municipalities of Chirivella, Picaña, Paiporta and Alfafar, as well as the district of La Torre, from the same district. Unlike the rest of the neighborhoods of the Poblados del Sur, there is no population center in Faitanar, but rather all of it is distributed in several farmhouses and scattered farmhouses.

The València Sud station is a station on lines 1, 2 and 7 of Metrovalencia. It is located in the district of Pobles del Sud, in the hamlet of Faitanar. It was inaugurated on October 8, 1988, together with the other stations of lines 1 and 2.
It is part of a complex of maintenance buildings of the company, as well as its headquarters. It also has a parking lot for users of the 170-meter subway.
