Palau Sabardera or Palau-Sabardera (officially and in Catalan Palau-saverdera) is a Spanish municipality in the Alto Ampurdán region in the province of Girona, Catalonia.

Palau Sabardera Castle
The Castle of Palau Sabardera (in Catalan: Castell de Palau-saverdera)? It is a historical monument of the municipality of Palau Sabardera of the Catalan region of Alto Ampurdán in the province of Girona declared a cultural asset of national interest.
It is located in the old town of the town delimited by the Plaza Mayor and the street of Puigmal. It was built during the 15th century by the Vilamarí family, replacing an older castle. Currently part of the walled enclosure and the angular towers, two cylindrical and one square, called "Tower of the Hours" is preserved. It has an enclosed structure and was used as a prison and as a watchtower. On one side is the shield of the Vilarig, lords of the castle during the 16th century.
