Vallecas
Vallecas was a Spanish municipality belonging to the province of Madrid. It disappeared as such on December 22, 1950, when its annexation was made to the municipal district of Madrid. It belonged to the judicial party of Alcalá de Henares.
Vallecas currently constitutes an extensive area of the city of Madrid, whose place name is the only one that survives in a multidisciplinary way within the capital. The territory of the former municipality is currently divided into two capital districts: to the northwest Puente de Vallecas (228 803 inhabitants) and to the southeast Villa de Vallecas (98 699 inhabitants, which includes the Ensanche de Vallecas with about 20 000 inhabitants registered). Church of San Pedro ad Víncula (Vallecas)
The church of San Pedro ad Víncula is located at the north end of the administrative district of Casco Histórico de Vallecas (city of Madrid, Spain), on the street of Sierra Gorda, with a return to the Plaza de Juan Malasaña, in the district of Villa from Vallecas.
The church was designed by Juan de Herrera in 1600, the current tower being an addition of Ventura Rodríguez in 1775. It was restored by Francisco Caballero Lasierra in 1965 and projected and then restored again by José Miguel Ávila Jalvo between the years 1996 and 2002.
It was declared of Cultural Interest in 1995.

Vallecas is a Spanish railway station located at the intersection of Avenida de la Democracia and Jesús del Pino street, north of the Historic District of Vallecas (Villa de Vallecas district), although it also serves the Southeast Palomeras neighborhood (Puente de Vallecas ). It is part of lines C-2, C-7 and C-8 of Cercanías Madrid.
It offers a connection with the Sierra de Guadalupe station of Line 1 of the Madrid Metro located perpendicular under the train station tracks forming an important transport interchange between suburban and subway.
