Los Angeles City Park

Los Angeles City Park is the largest park in this neighborhood of the city of Madrid, the City of Los Angeles. The park is located in Madrid, south of the city, in the Villaverde district.
It was inaugurated on Saturday, May 13, 1978 by the mayor of Union and democratic center, Don José Luís Alvarez. It is located in the interior space of the block formed between the streets Anoeta, Alegría de la Huerta and La del Manojo de Rosas.
It has an area of 32.503 square meters, practically flat, since the land on which it has been built is completely regular. Of this extension, 13,691 square meters are destined to plantations, while 8,574 are of paved area. In the garden area a total of 410 deciduous trees have been planted, all of them coming from municipal nurseries.
In this park the celebrations of the district were celebrated before all the celebrations of the district of Villaverde were united to a single one and transferred to the zone of the Great Vía of Villaverde to the height of the station of Outskirts of Villaverde Bajo. In its traditional layout this park was used as a fairground, and fairground attractions were placed at the southern end of it, on Anoeta Street.
This park is the place in the City of Los Angeles where more people are concentrated, to take the children to the park, or to go for a walk, to lie on the grass, or to sit on a bench. It has a playground, basketball courts, a track, wide sidewalks, a place to stretch located northeast of the park, tables in the same area.

Villaverde Bajo-Cruce is a station on line 3 of the Madrid Metro located under the intersection of the Avenida de Andalucía with the road from Villaverde to Vallecas, known as the Cruce de Villaverde, in the Madrid district of the same name.
