Boulogne-sur-Mer (previously called in Spanish Bologna-on-the-Sea) is a town in northern France, in the department of the Pas-de-Calais, of which it is a sub-prefecture and the second most populous city after Calais. It is next to the English Channel.

Stade de la Libération

The Stade de la Libération also known as Stade Municipal Léo Lagrange is a football stadium in Boulogne-sur-Mer (France). With a capacity for 10,000 spectators since the last extension in 2009, it is used by the Union Sportive de Boulogne and the Boulogne Athlétique Club that uses the running track.
Boulogne-sur-Mer was hit hard by the bombings of World War II and his players were forced to play a time in a vast expanse of steep grass before finding refuge in 1947 at the Henri Fonteilles stadium. Then they returned to the Moulin-Wibert stadium used before the war.
