Eastbourne
Eastbourne is a city and a non-metropolitan district of the county of East Sussex, on the southern coast of England, with an estimated population of 99,300 in 2011. This area has witnessed human activity since the stone age, housing small towns, up to make Eastbourne a major maritime destination in the time of Edward VII.
Eastbourne is known for being one of the sunniest places in England and, thanks to its situation by the sea, on the south coast, it is an ideal place to study and relax.

Eastbourne tournament
The Eastbourne Tournament (officially and for commercial reasons AEGON International) is a men's and women's category tennis tournament that is held annually in the English city of Eastbourne in mid-June and is played on grass.
In the women's category it has been played since the 1975 season. As of the 2009 season it is in the WTA Premier Tournaments category. The tennis player with the most victories is the American Martina Navrátilová with 11 wins.
In the men's category, 2 editions were held in 1972 and 1973, and until the 2009 season it was not held again, within the ATP World Tour 250 category. The last tournament played was in 2014. The tennis player who has won the most titles is Spanish Feliciano López with 2. In February 2014, the ATP announced the holding of a new tournament in Nottingham (United Kingdom), which would replace that of Eastbourne in 2015, although in 2017 it was held again in the ATP 250 men's category.
