St. Nicholas Church (Great Yarmouth)
The church of St. Nicholas located in Great Yarmouth is the largest parish in England in terms of the area that occupies the ground surface. It was founded in 1101 by Herbert de Losinga, the first bishop of Norway and was consecrated in 1119. It has a cruciform shape with a central tower, which retains a part of the original structure, although the shape has undergone changes due to the various alterations. Its width is 7.9 meters (26 feet) and with a total length of 72 meters (236 feet).
