Thera Prehistory Museum
The Prehistory Museum of Thera (in Greek, Μουσείο Προϊστορικής Θήρας Greek: υουσείο Προϊστορικής αρας: υουσείο Προϊστορικής αρας is Santorini island in Greece. Museum in Greece, Santorini island in Greece. It was built on the site of the old Ypapanti church, which was destroyed in the 1956 earthquake. The museum houses a large number of ancient objects from various excavations made in Santorini, as in Acrotiri (in the southwest part of the island, in a peninsula), and in the next archaeological site of Potamos. It must be distinguished from another different museum that is the Archaeological Museum of Thera.
