Nieuwe Kerk (Delft)

Nieuwe Kerk (in Spanish: Nueva Iglesia) is a temple of the Protestant church in the city of Delft, the Netherlands, built in the Gothic style. The building is located in the market square of Delft, in front of the city hall. It was the second parish church in the city, so it was called a new church. In 1584, William of Orange was buried inside the church, in a mausoleum designed by Hendrick and Pieter de Keyser. Since then members of the Orange-Nassau House have been buried in the royal crypt of this temple. The last ones were Queen Juliana and her husband Prince Bernardo, in 2004.
