The Festspielhaus Baden-Baden (in Castilian, House of Festivals of Baden-Baden) is a concert hall and opera house located in the city of Baden-Baden, constituting with its capacity for 2,500 spectators as the largest hall in Germany for this type of events
The modern construction of the theater, inaugurated on April 18, 1998, integrates the city's old railway station and was built by Viennese architect Wilhelm Holzbauer. The Festspielhaus Baden-Baden was conceived since its inception as a private cultural institution, being the first European opera house that is not funded through the state. The theater is directed by Andreas Mölich-Zebhauser and belongs to the private foundation Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, which has awarded the Herbert von Karajan Music Prize award to illustrious music since 2003.

The Kurhaus in Baden-Baden is a spa complex, casino and conference center in Baden-Baden, Germany, on the outskirts of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald). The main structure was designed in 1824 by Friedrich Weinbrenner, who is responsible for the Corinthian columns and design of the grand entrance and neoclassical interiors. Although a casino was incorporated since the beginning of the Kurhaus, it only began to reach international fame in the mid-1830s, when the game was banned in France.
