Koblenz or Confluents (in German, Koblenz) is a city in Germany located on both sides of the Rhine at its confluence with the Moselle river. The palace, or castle, of the Electoral Princes (in German, Kurfürstliches Schloss) in Koblenz, Germany, was the residence of the last archbishop and elector of Trier, Clemens Wenceslaus of Saxony, who commissioned the building at the end of the 18th century.
