Koblenz or Confluents (in German, Koblenz) is a city in Germany located on both sides of the Rhine at its confluence with the Moselle river. After Mainz and Ludwigshafen, it is the third most populous city in the federated state of Rhineland-Palatinate (Rheinland-Pfalz in German), with 112,586 inhabitants in 2015.

The palace, or castle, of the Electoral Princes (in German, Kurfürstliches Schloss) in Koblenz, Germany, was the residence of the last archbishop and elector of Trier, Clemens Wenceslaus of Saxony, who commissioned the building at the end of the 18th century. In the mid-19th century, the Prussian crown prince (later Emperor William I) had his official residence here during his years as military governor of the Rhine province and the province of Westphalia. The palace was almost completely destroyed during World War II, and then it was restored in the shortest possible time. It currently houses several federal government offices.
The Palace of the Electoral Princes is one of the most important examples of the first great French neoclassical houses in southwest Germany, and with the Wilhelmshöhe Palace, in Kassel, the Prince Bishop's Palace, in Münster, and the Ludwigsburg Palace , one of the last palaces built in Germany before the French Revolution. Since 2002, it has been included in the World Heritage Site of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, and is also a cultural asset protected under the Hague Convention.

The Löhr Center is a shopping center in the city center of Koblenz. It was inaugurated in 1984 north adjacent to the Church of the Sacred Heart. The operator of Löhr-Center is ECE Projektmanagement GmbH & Co. KG, which also operates the Mittelrhein Forum in the central square of Koblenz.
