Ernen (in French Aragnon) is a Swiss commune in the canton of Valais, located in the district of Goms. It borders to the north with the communes of Bellwald, Niederwald and Blitzingen, to the northeast with Grafschaft and Reckingen-Gluringen, to the southeast with Binn, to the south with Grengiols, and to the west with Lax and Fiesch.
The commune is the result of the union in 2005 of the communes of Ausserbinn, Ernen, Mühlebach and Steinhaus.
