newBasilica of Santa Maria de Castellón de Ampurias
The basilica of Santa María de Castellón de Ampurias, also known as the "Empordà Cathedral" or "Castelló d'Empúries Cathedral", is a Gothic church located in the Puig Salnes neighborhood of the old town of Castellón de Ampurias, in the Catalan region of Alto Ampurdán. According to Josep Pla:
The parish church, dedicated to La Candelaria, is the cathedral of Ampurdán. It is the most important temple of the miter, behind the cathedral.
Thus, it is considered the most important religious monument in Girona after the Cathedral of Girona, noted for its monumentality and cathedral dimensions. It was built on the early Romanesque church, of which there are some vestiges, such as the first floors of the bell tower or the great baptismal font.

Ecomuseum-Flour of Castellón de Ampurias
The Ecomuseum-Harinera of Castellón de Ampurias (in Catalan, Ecomuseu-Farinera of Castelló d'Empúries) is a museum located in Castellón de Ampurias (Girona, Spain) that shows how men and women lived (and lived) women who are dedicated to the cultivation of the grain of the wheat of those places of the Ampurdán.
In the Ecomuseum-Harinera the secrets of making flour are revealed and in the three floors of the old factory different machines are found, of great beauty, of the complicated production process. Dated at the end of the 19th century and first half of the 20th century, they show great ingenuity in the process. Together with the warmth of melis, flank and Galician pine wood structures, the visual and aesthetic impact of the whole, the cleanliness of the factory and the authenticity of what is seen make the Flourier not leave anyone indifferent. It is part of the Network of Local Museums of Catalonia-Girona.
