Riumors is a Spanish municipality in the Alto Ampurdán region, in the province of Girona, Autonomous Community of Catalonia.
In his municipality the church of Sant Mamet stands out, with data from the year 1019, he had a consecration in the year 1150, so it is believed that there was already a reconstruction at that time. In the great flood that took place in the year 1421, the town was destroyed, and the church was rebuilt in the 15th or 16th century, taking advantage of some element of the previous one, with the result of a single-nave church, which later returned to be reformed and fortified.
In some houses and farmhouses you can see on their facades ceramic ceilings with allusions to the services that their inhabitants had with the Xamunar house, Marqueses de Riumors, owners of the place together with the monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes.
