B-23 (highway)

The B-23 motorway is an access to the city center of Barcelona from the AP-7 motorway.
It is a section of the old A-2 motorway (currently AP-2) that was renamed B-23 when the name of the roads was changed. For a few years, a section maintained the nomenclature "AP-2", but at present that is no longer the case.
The B-23 extends from the end of Diagonal Avenue, parallel to the A-2 motorway and the Llobregat River and ends up connecting with the AP-7 at the height of El Papiol. Between San Felíu de Llobregat and El Papiol it belongs to the European Itinerary E-90.

Finestrelles-Sant Joan de Déu Station

Finestrelles station | Sant Joan de Déu, will be a future exchanger of lines 3 (TMB) and 12 (FGC) of the Barcelona metro. It will be built at 60 meters (L3) and 30 meters (L12) deep. The platform of line 3 will be central, will be 9 meters wide and will be "between screens", while line 12 will have 2 platforms 5 meters wide. The station will serve the hospital of Sant Joan de Déu (San Juan de Dios) and the urbanization of Finestrelles in the municipality of Esplugas de Llobregat. The station will be equipped with escalators and elevators.

WTA tournament in Barcelona

The Barcelona Ladies Open was a professional tennis tournament of the WTA that is played on outdoor clay courts, being until 2009 the only WTA championship held in Spain. The event belongs to the WTA International Tournaments. It is also known as the Spanish Open.
The first edition dates from 1972 and was held in Barcelona, although discontinuously, playing all even editions until 1978 inclusive. The following year ceases to be held until 1985, the year in which the tournament is already settled until 1995 (except in 1987). In 1996, the witness took the city of Madrid, holding the competition until 2003.
Spain stops having an international women's tennis event until 2007 (except for two editions of the Women's Masters). The tournament was last played in 2012.
The player who has been crowned most times is Arantxa Sánchez Vicario, with six twists (5 in Barcelona and one in Madrid), followed by Mónica Seles, Jana Novotna and Roberta Vinci with two each. Other illustrious winners are Hana Mandlikova, Conchita Martínez, Patty Schnyder, Lindsay Davenport, Chanda Rubin, Francesca Schiavone or Sara Errani.
In the doubles modality, Arancha Sánchez Vicario also leads the podium again with 8 wins. Many tennis players follow with two titles, including Martina Navratilova, Jana Novotna, Paola Suárez or the Spanish Conchita Martínez, Virginia Ruano, Arantxa Parra or Nuria Llagostera.

Cervantes Park

The Cervantes park (in Catalan, Parc de Cervantes) is located in the Pedralbes neighborhood, belonging to the Les Corts district, in Barcelona. It is located between Diagonal Avenue and Esplugues Avenue (in a section that corresponds to the Ronda de Dalt), right on the border with the municipality of Esplugas de Llobregat.
Opened in 1965, it specializes in roses. It has an extension of 87 665 m2.

Can Rigal Park

Can Rigal Park is located in the Les Corts district of Barcelona. It was inaugurated in 2012 with a project developed by the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona. This park was conceived with criteria of self-sufficiency and sustainability, one of the basic premises in the creation of green areas in the city today, such as the parks of the Spring, Torrent Maduixer and Rieres d'Horta.
Its name refers to Can Rigal, an old farm dedicated to the vineyard, on whose land most of the current park is located.

It is an intermediate archive, which preserves the documentary heritage of the units, centers and organizations of the former general captains that were dissolved with the expansion of the North Plan. It is located in the Barracks of Bruch in Barcelona, Spain.
